This short Bible verse encourages Christians to not conform to the patterns of the world but to allow themselves to be transformed by God. It references Romans 12:2 which tells believers to not be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds so that they may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

“ Do not conform … but be transformed ” -Rom 12:2

In this sermon, Christians were admonished and warned against complacency in their Christian journey. An example was taken from the case of the Israelites were, out of all men above the age of 20 at the time of Exodus, only two entered the Promised Land.
