My job profile was to find any ‘communication gap’ between the work of science and technology
research labs/institutes and the needs of industries and then to bridge that gap through scientist-
entrepreneur connections. My role also involved the acceleration of the deployment of new
technologies emanating from research labs into new start-up companies and industries. Details are

1] I was mainly responsible for deciding the quality of a very large number of patents and know-hows
‘developed’ by various research labs. I also created crisp and simplified ‘Technology Marketing
Documents’ after analysing those patents and know-hows so as to initiate ‘technology-transfer’ and
‘commercialization’ discussions with target customers. [Customers that I targeted were mainly
companies working in ‘Metallurgical and material’s engineering’ sector]
2] My second responsibility was to learn data-extraction skills for finding email ids and other contact
details of ‘key decision makers’ in target companies (CEOs, CTOs, and Directors) through use of
precise ‘internet search queries’ and ‘proprietary internet tricks’ (for direct and faster discussions and

3] Transfer and commercialization of an ‘Anti-tarnish lacquer’ coating technology (Very useful for
gold, silver and copper alloy industries in India)
