Mark Lincoln is seeking a new position where he can utilize his 29 years of experience in the New York State Police, rising to the rank of Captain. I have served in the New York State Police for the last 29 years (1987- Present), rising to current
position of Captain in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Within the organization I have held the
ranks of Trooper, Sergeant, Sergeant/Station Commander, Investigator, Uniform and BCI
Lieutenant, and Captain in the Internal Affairs Bureau before attaining my current position.
I am currently responsible for 85 employees and supervising the investigations of all major felony
crimes handled by the state police in 7 Central New York counties. I have been involved in all
aspects of managing employees including: recruitment, background investigation and screening,
training, mentoring, evaluating, promoting, investigating misconduct, and labor-relations matters. I
am experienced and adept in functioning in a culturally diverse employee and customer
environment.
