ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Systems Engineering/Architect - Product Development
 Achieved implementing a new program capability to develop DoDAF v1.5 and v2.02 views and
viewpoint products for the customer by installing and administering IBM’s System Architect (SA)
tools as well as providing DoDAF and SA training/mentoring to all program Systems Engineers and
the customer, which directly led to additional government funding of $1.5M.
 Accomplished the development and production of the TSAT ICD consisting of 49 distinct external
interfaces between 25 government agencies, which led to a labor cost savings of $4M. Received
the employer’s highest individual contributor achievement award, the Service Recognition Award
(SRA) for this ICD effort.

 First to successfully design, build and implement an ATM-over-Satellite and ATM-over-Microwave
multiplexing system (WANIU) for both AF Space Command’s (AFSPC) Eastern and Western
Ranges and down-range locations, saving the AF $100M in parts and operational costs over the
lifetime of the system. The design included data rate auto-tracking capabilities thereby eliminating
the need for people in-the-loop to operate the system.
 Solely determined the root cause of incorrect time-data correlation (TDC) values being reported by
global Air Force end users one month into operational testing. Found the problem was caused by
inconsistent end-to-end satellite telemetry transmission delays between remote ground facilities
and operational control nodes. The action of changing the TDC values to compensate for various
end-to-end transmission delays eliminated all customer efforts to reinstall legacy systems, thus
saving them $10M.
Programmatic Leadership
 First on the program to incorporate the company-wide Integrated Program Framework (IPF) when
developing a sustainment proposal. The IPF covers IMP, IMS, WBS, BOE, BOM instructions for
development and product inter-dependencies. Using this highly integrated approach led directly to
a quick Authority-To-Proceed (ATP) of the $10M contract before the current funding ran out, and
this was due mainly to the proposal’s organization and inter-product traceability.
 Achieved the successful coordination of 2010 Q4 sales and EBIT with Purchasing, Expediting,
Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, PM, Contracts and Planning personnel, which yielded
approximately $2M in sales.
 Successfully executed a system trade determining which Network Management System (NMS)
would be used to manage network of communication multiplexer devices. The decision was based
on technical, cost, schedule factors and overall risk of execution, and led to a project savings of
$6M.
