Civil RICO and Consumer Litigation
 Hired in January of 2013 by plaintiff's lawyer Carl Pipoly to develop a first of it's kind civil RICO lawsuit against
Sterling Trust Company and Equity Trust Company. See PACER Case 5:13-cv-00389-XR. Conducted all
research for drafting complex federalcivil RICO violations - predicate acts based on mail and wire fraud, 18
U.S.C. §1961, §1962(c),(d) and 18 U.S.C §1956(a)(1). Drafted all discovery requests and managed all document
production: 23 depositions and 12,000 pages of documents received and produced. “Poured out” on RICO, but
Fraud claim against non-fiduciary custodial trust company Sterling Trust Company a/k/a UWT, Inc. has
survived summary judgment.
 Motion for relief from Automatic Stay in Bankruptcy

Oil & Gas and Real Property
 Negotiated and drafted oil and gas leases as to both the mineral owner and leasing exploration companies.
 Draft and file mechanics lien for oil field service providers by filing appropriate lien documents with state
agencies, and ensure that local oil and gas carriers are served a certified copy of the lien so producers cannot
effectively ignore the lien(s).
 Draft oil and gas working interest participation documents for private investment in drilling (and producing) oil
and gas wells and utilize the Authorization For Expenditure (AFE) to provide the tax deduction - pursuant to IRS
Code Section 469(c)(3)(A) and IRS Code Section 461(i)(2)(A)) - to working interest minerals owners who
participate in oil and gas exploration. Participation is generally conducted through the execution of a private
placement memorandum that complies with state and federal(Reg. D) securities laws as to oil and gas
exploration, and an assignment to the participants of their mineral ownership as a working interest.
 Reviewed & drafted Deeds,Warranty Deeds,Promissory Note and Deed of Trust with Vendors Lien,
Assignments, Easements and Right of Ways, and issues of Adverse Possession.
