Good afternoon ANC 5D community,
Attached, please find unanimously-approved copies of ANC 5D meeting minutes for all meetings from
January through May 2015. The attached minutes were publicly read and unanimously approved at a
properly-noticed special public meeting held on Thursday, JaIy 2,2015 at7:00PM at the MPD 5'h district
station - 1805 Bladensburg Road, NE. DC code $ 1-309.11.c requires that all ANC meetings are noticed
by at least 2 of 4 acceptable methods. This meeting surpassed that requirement and was noticed by the
following 3 methods:
(l) "Posting written notices in at least 4 conspicuous places in each single-member district within the
Commission area;" see attached date stamped photos
(2) "Publication in a city or community newspaper," see this link:

(3) "Transmitting or distributing notice to a list of residents and other stakeholders in the

Commission approval of these rninutes was the final step in completing the ANC 5D FYl5 Q2 and Q3
quarterly reports and to safe-guard our Ql and Q2 allotments, totaling approximately $8,000 in
community funds. To ensure usage of these funds for the benefit of the community and un-freeze our
bank account, we must finalize our Security Fund package, which was unanimously approved by ANC
5D on April 14, 2015. All documents of the Security Fund package have been completed and signed, with
the exception of the bank signature card. Since May 9,2015, all ANC 5D offrcer signatures have been
received except for Commissioner Henderson's. We look forward to finalizing and submitting our
Security Fund package so that ANC 5D can begin utilizing Commission funds for the benefit of our
community.
