Lee Thorpe Jr. has over 10 years of experience working in healthcare education and advocacy, particularly around issues impacting the LGBT community. He holds an MA in Humanities and Social Thought from NYU and a BA in Sociology from Stony Brook University. Currently, Thorpe works as a Health Care Educator at North Shore-LIJ Health System, where he conducts HIV testing and designs health workshops for gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men. Previously, he held prevention and advocacy roles with organizations serving Hispanic and LGBT communities.
