Trade Center and the Washington, DC sniper case, VCU Behl case, Lisk/Silva kidnappings and
homicides, Shenandoah hikers, etc.. Conduct effective investigative work and evidence handling
while safely addressing all safety and security concerns.
• Attended and provided specialized training to include: Human Remains collection and investigation
at University of Tennessee, mass disaster response, post blast scenes, large vehicle bomb, air craft
disaster response training, etc.
Joint Task Force
Designated FBI representative to DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCY (DEA) task force for three years.
• Supported U.S. investigations regarding mass bombings and homicide, in conjunction with local law
enforcement agencies and government officials in Haiti, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Turkey, and
Israel. Investigate, document, and compile all evidence suitable for court presentation and
conviction. Received numerous awards and commendations.
• Led high-performance drug and violent crime task forces collaborating with state, county, and
Federal law enforcement partners. Additional task forces include multi-jurisdiction cold case
homicide, Golden Years homicide, DEA, and JTTF among others. Manage personnel, scheduling,
finances, and documentation.
• Liaison: Collaborate with Virginia State Police, North Carolina law enforcement and local police
forces, medical examiner,etc, in numerous Virginia counties. Liaised with Bureau of Alcohol,
Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), DEA, and the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage
Control, as well as private enterprise to secure convictions.
Crisis Negotiator
Negotiate domestic and international hostage and crisis incidents.
• Investigate cases of American citizens kidnapped overseas while managing demanding schedules in
austere and challenging high stress environments. Utilize critical thinking and application to ensure
results as well as address all potential security issues.
• Negotiate with foreign law enforcement personnel and coordinate with U.S. military forces to secure
the safe release of kidnapped Americans.
• Serve as team leader, organizing and scheduling negotiators, providing for translations,
