DataStage tool is used to model and create the target warehouse, extract data from multiple data sources, transform the data to make it accessible to business analysis and for loading multiple target data marts. Responsibilities: • Using DataStage ETL Tool: Designer, we designed data source, transformations, target tables and imported metadata definitions for the data warehouse. • Worked on DataStage – DataStage Designer, DataStage Director, and DataStage Administrator. Involved in the development of DataStage jobs. • Worked on different client tools Source Analyzer, Warehouse designer, Mapping and Transformation Developer. • Created Mappings using transformations like Aggregator, joiner, expression and sequence generator to load map into the target tables of data warehouse. • Implemented slowly changing strategy to manage the data in the dimension tables. Environment & DataWareHousing Tools: • Worked on Data Warehousing Tools such as IBM Ascential DataStage 7.5 • Worked on Teradata V2R5 Database. • Using Windows 2000
