Projects and Labs
Circuits I
- A basic resistor circuit, inverting op-amp, and RC circuit were analyzed schematically and then were
built on a prototype board. Waveforms and voltages were measured and compared to the circuit
Computer Architecture
- Designed and simulated a 4 bit computer processor in Altera Quertus
Control Systems
- Analyzed the effects of poles and zeros on a motor model in MATLAB and extracted transient
response characteristics
Digital Electronics
- Worked with digital logic circuits at the transistor level
Digital Systems
- Various digital logic circuits were analyzed, prototyped, built, and tested on hardware using an Altera
hardware board.
Microcomputer Systems
- Programming the MSP430 board in Assembly Code and in C to do a variety of tasks using on board
components
Electromagnetic Fields II
- Worked with a network analyzer on transmission lines with different loads.
Electronics I,II
- Analyzing MOSFET’s and BJT’s and building differential amplifiers and current sources with those
transistors.
Linear I,II
- Worked extensively in MATLAB writing programs to take the Fourier transform of signals, moving from
frequency to time domain, overlap and add method, and other things
