Kristin Hecksel has over 10 years of experience in nutrition, childcare, farming, and research. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition from UC Davis and has worked as a biological technician at the USDA Western Human Nutrition Research Center since 2015. Her roles include developing research protocols, collecting dietary data, preparing meals for studies, and training coworkers. Previously, she volunteered with nutrition programs for low-income families and worked as an organic farmer in Hawaii.
