Research Tools for Collecting, Writing, Publishing,
and Disseminating your Research

“Research Tools” enable researchers to collect, organize, analyze, visualize
and publicize research outputs. Dr. Nader has collected over 700 tools that
enable researchers to follow the correct path in research and ultimately
produce high-quality research outputs with more accuracy and efficiency.
“Research Tools” consists of a hierarchical set of nodes. It has four main
nodes: (1) Searching the literature, (2) Writing a paper, (3) Targeting
suitable journals, and (4) Enhancing the visibility and impact of the
research. This webinar will provide an overview of the most important
tools from searching the literature to disseminating the researcher’s
outputs. The e-skills learned from the webinar are useful across various
research disciplines and research institutions.

Steps to improve your research visibility and impact
1. Quality, Quality, Quality: Inherent & Appearance (Publish papers with
Nobel laureates).
2. Write a manuscript for publication and receive an impact.
3. Optimizing your manuscript for academic search engines (ASEO).
4. Get ORCID’s unique author identifier and online profile to distinguish
yourself and keep it up to date.
5. Sharing the research data.
6. Select Open Access journals for publications.
7. Don’t be afraid to promote your work.
8. Invest time to improve the visibility of your work.
9. The more you deposit your paper, the more citations you’ll receive.
10. Use academic social networks.
