4. There are three different production companies
for Se7en. These include:
Cecchi Gori Pictures
Juno Pix
New Line Cinema
5. I think that the distributer would like my film as it would
both be similar to films they already distribute (being the
same genre as many others) but also different as it would
be a whole new idea and story board to make sure that
the ‘thrilling’ part of the thriller really hooks the audience.
When it comes to low budget films, Reservoir Dogs is
known to be one of the low budget films yet it is known
world wide.
I don’t think, my film would need a high budget; Miramax
distributed Reservoir Dogs which is known to be a large
distributer and Reservoir Dogs being a low budget film for
blockbuster.
6. How will this research affect my
ideas?
This research showed me that both high
budget and low budget can be distributed by
just as many companies and the same
distributors which does result in the same
popularity. I think that as long as a thriller is
thrilling and hooks the audience it wouldn't
need a large budget to create.
