This document provides instructions for re-registering a student organization on AggieLife in 2 pathways. The first involves finding the organization under "My Memberships" and clicking "Re-Register This Organization". The second is searching for the organization and clicking "Re-Register" on its page. It then outlines the re-registration form process which involves updating organization details, leadership, and submitting for approval.

2. PATHWAY #1:
1. Re-registering RSO by “My Memberships”
Log noto AggieLife. On the front page of AggieLife, click on the switchboard next to your
profile picture in the upper right hand corner (nine little boxes in a square).
Then, click on “Manage” on the drop-down menu.

3. 2. You will be brought to the “Action Center”
Look under “My Memberships.” If you
don’t see the RSO that you are trying
to re-register, please contact us so that
we can add you to the roster.

Click on the RSO that you
wish to re-register.

Organization” to begin the
registration process.

6. PATHWAY #2:
Re-registering RSO by searching the Organization List
Step 1: Click on the
“Organizations” tab on the front
page of AggieLife to bring you to
this page.
Step 2: Click on “Register
an Organization”

7. You will be brought
to this page.

8. Step 1: Use the search
bar to find the RSO you
are trying to re-register.
Step 2: Click on “Re-Register”.
NOTE: If you cannot find the RSO you are
trying to re-register in the search results,
please contact us. This may happen if the
RSO exists, but has not been re-registered
for the previous school year.

Click on “Re-Register This
Organization” to begin the
registration process.

10. Registration Instructions: Before You Begin
Please read these instructions thoroughly
before you begin the registration process to
ensure your registration will be approved the
first time you submit it.
Be sure to note the reasons why registration
submissions may be denied.
Click on “Next” after reading these
instructions.

11. Most of this information will
already be here if you are re-
registering the RSO, but you
may update most of the
information as you wish.
Please do not change the
name of your RSO at this
time or your registration
form will be denied.
The fields with * are required
to fill out.
*If you wish to change the name
of your RSO, wait until you’re
approved. Then, send us an email
with all of the officers CC’ed,
stating the new name that you
want to change it to.

12. This part will automatically be
filled out. If the RSO has another
website, you may put it under
“External Website.”
Filling out social media is
optional. If filled out, it will
display on the RSO’s portal.

13. Organization Contact Information is optional to
fill out. For Street Address, you may use “442
Memorial Union”, which is the Center for
Student Involvement’s address. If so, please
use “Davis” for city, “CA” for state, and “95616”
for zip code.
Please use caution if using a personal number
for the “Phone Number” section. This
information will be posted publically on your
AggieLife portal.

14. Primary category determines who your
RSO’s primary CSI contact will be.
Primary category will automatically be
filled in when you re-register.
Please note that RSOs at the School of
Medicine, School of Nursing, School of
Law, and School of Veterinary Medicine
must select the school as the primary
category.
All RSOs except the RSOs in professional
schools will be able to select additional
categories later in the registration form.

15. You may choose several categories that
you RSO falls under. This is used when
potential members search on AggieLife
for RSOs they are interested in joining.
All professional school RSOs can only
select their professional school in this
section.

16. Adding a profile picture is optional,
but highly recommended to help
potential members know your
organization is active. Be sure to
follow campus trademark policy.

17. Please make sure that the three
primary leaders have completed
the required forms prior to
submitting this registration form.
The three primary leaders must be
currently enrolled UC Davis
students.

18. Please fill this out carefully and use the
officers’ UC Davis (ucdavis.edu) emails.
Personal emails (e.g. gmail, icloud, yahoo)
are prohibited.

19. Indicate whether or not you would like to renew,
open, or don’t need an Agency Account. Please
note that you can always open an Agency Account
any time during the school year.
If you have an EIN/Tax ID number from the IRS,
please provide it as well.
The Agency Account activation fee for re-registering
RSOs is $35 if you pay before July 1. It is $45 if you
pay July 1 or later.

20. With an Agency Account, you can make room
reservations on campus. To do so, you will need to
select 2 out of your 3 listed primary leaders to be the
Authorized Reservers.
The email address that is provided must be a UC
Davis email address.

21. You need to add all of your incoming
primary leaders to the roster in this
section if they are not already on the
roster.
You may add additional members to your
AggieLife roster. You can also do this
anytime after your organization gets
registered.

22. You may edit the positions of people on
the RSO roster. You will NOT be able to
add your three primary leaders to the
roles of Primary Leader, Secondary
Leader, or Treasurer/Financial Office. This
is a good place to add any additional
officers you have beyond the required
three.

23. Please mark “yes” or “no” if non-students
participate in your organization’s activities.
Then, check off the boxes on what those
non-students will be doing in your
organization and further elaborate in the
comment box.

24. Advisors are not required. Please note that
your CSI Contact is not considered as an
advisor. Advisors are usually UC Davis
professors or faculty members.

25. If your organization has any affiliations with other groups,
please check “Yes”.

26. If your organization has a liability insurance outside of the
University, please mark “Yes”.

27. Make sure to click “Submit For
Approval” at the end of the form.
If you don’t, the application will
be “In Progress” and we will not
receive it.
The form will say “Pending” once
it has actually been submitted.

28. You’re done with the registration form!
Now what?
Please wait up to several business days for your forms to process, as we may receive a
high volume of submissions. Once all of your forms have been reviewed, you will either
be approved by your CSI contact, denied to make correct changes to your form, or CSI
will follow-up with questions. Once approved, all three primary leaders will receive an
email outlining next steps and CSI resources.
