Two men, Hassan Saied Keshari and Traian Bujduveanu, were arrested for conspiring to export military aircraft parts from the United States to Iran illegally since 2006. Keshari, who owns a company in California, would receive orders from Iran and work with Bujduveanu, who owns a company in Florida, to obtain the parts and ship them from the U.S. through Dubai to Iran. The parts were for helicopters and fighter jets used by the Iranian military, including for CH-53, F-14, and AH-1 aircraft. Both men have been charged with conspiring to violate export laws and face prison time and fines if convicted.
