The NOHAP Symposium brought together representatives from various national dental and health organizations to discuss improving oral health care access for underserved Canadians. [1] Key topics included children's oral health, long-term care residents, Aboriginal peoples, and new immigrants. [2] Participants agreed to focus on developing common positions on water fluoridation and long-term care standards, and children's oral health education programs. [3] The goal is to collaborate on reducing oral health inequities through sharing successful initiatives and further discussions in 2015.
