2. Repeat Breeding
• Repeat breeding is an important reproductive disorder
which causes great economic losses in farm animals.
• Repeat breeding is one of the major problems affecting
reproductive efficiency.
• Repeat breeding syndrome is a condition in which animal
have a regular estrus cycle and appear normal on
superficial clinical examination but fail to become
pregnant following three or more breeding

3. • The most vexing problem for a Veterinarian.
• Has no abnormal vaginal discharge.
• Has calved at least once and less than 10 years old.

iv) Enzymatic Thinning of wall of follicles

• Detect estrus:

13. Treatment
• Genetic Factor : - Change the Bull
• Environmental Factor : - Proper Management is required
• Subclinical Infection : - Pre and Post AI Antibiotic
treatment is done.
• Pre (5-6 hours)
• After (3-4 hours)
And on day 4 and day 10 Also

• Control of uterine infections
• Correct negative energy balance
• Correct timing of Artificial insemination
• Assure quality of semen
