The problem with evil is this: how could an all-good, all-knowing, all-powerful God create a
world that contains evil in it? Augustine offers a powerful answer to this question. For this
prompt, answer
(i) whether you find it convincing,
(ii) specifically why or why not
(iii) what do you propose as an alternative reading of the problem of evil? Note that for (iii),
you may simply agree that it disproves the existence of the Omni-god; if so, be sure to
explain why you think this is the case.
