The document discusses how to build a business team and earn $10,000 or more per month through the power of duplication and multiplication. It explains a formula where a person recruits one new team member per month who each finds four customers spending $50 total, and also recruits one new person. After 14 months of consistent growth, this system can generate over $10,000 in monthly income. The larger goal is to have a team doing $5 million in monthly sales to earn $100,000 per month for the business owner. Customers are given a good health product to use monthly to support ongoing spending.
Stuart Shirreff is the Head of Safety and Assurance at KDC Contractors Limited, a company that employs 138 specialists to provide decommissioning, deconstruction, demolition, and land remediation services. KDC works for a variety of chemical, nuclear, and industrial clients. It owns its own nuclear decommissioning, rigging, and asbestos abatement teams. KDC is working to simplify its risk assessment documentation and enhance toolbox talks and daily pre-task risk assessments to further improve workforce safety. With a focus on safety, KDC has not had a RIDDOR reportable incident in over 6 years and has received numerous safety awards from clients and industry organizations.
The June meeting of NESHEP included a presentation on the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Feedback from the workshop generated ideas to further the partnership, such as developing directories and special interest groups. Over 30 people attended from various safety-focused organizations in the region. Members were encouraged to get involved in initiatives to enhance their networks and expertise.
This document provides guidance for people grieving the death of someone close to them who may have died by suicide. It discusses common feelings people experience in this situation, such as anger, depression, disbelief, guilt and despair. The guide aims to help bereaved individuals understand what they may be feeling and suggests seeking further support from others or support organizations. It also covers practical matters they may need to deal with after the death and offers encouragement that there is no right or wrong way to grieve. The overall message is that the reader is not alone in their experience and there are resources available to help them cope and heal.
This document advertises a health and safety event and exhibition for the construction industry to be held on April 28, 2010 at Wynyard Park in Billingham. The event will provide information on important health and safety issues for both managers and operatives, and will include presentations on topics such as silica dust exposure, manual handling, and accident prevention. Attendees can choose a morning or afternoon session, and managers can receive a free spot for an operative. The event is supported by the HSE and is intended to help the industry improve safety practices from within. A booking form is included to register for the event.
Demographic change is demanding new responses from our society, workplaces, public services and family life
as our population and workforce age. As the number of working age people caring for older loved ones with
health conditions such as dementia rises, the impact on people’s ability to work is becoming an increasingly
critical issue for employers.
Half the UK’s 6.5 million carers are juggling paid work alongside caring. Within the total population of carers,
the number of people caring for loved ones with dementia is rising and is set to reach 850,000 by the end of the
decade.
1 Research has shown full-time working carers are most likely to care for a loved one with dementia.
2 The employers and carers we work with are telling us the same story as the statistics – that dementia and the
impact on employees of caring is a key issue for workforce retention, recruitment and resilience. Very often
the need to care for an elderly parent comes at peak career age. Without the right support, the challenges of
combining such caring with work (often also with other family responsibilities) can quickly become too difficult
to manage. Employees with valuable experience and skills will then either leave their jobs or struggle to cope
in the workplace. From earlier research we already know that 1 in 6 carers leave work or reduce their hours to
care.
This document summarizes the UK Health and Safety Executive's (HSE) policy of recovering costs, known as "fee for intervention", when a business breaches health and safety law and requires intervention. It explains that HSE will recover costs of any inspection, investigation, notices, or follow up required to address a "material breach" of safety regulations. Businesses will receive an invoice for these costs and have options to query or dispute the invoice through a two-level process. The document provides details on how fees are calculated, invoices are issued, and disputes are handled.
Mens Health Week 2011 will focus on using new technologies to improve men's health. Many men are reluctant to use traditional health services but do respond to health messages presented in engaging formats like online systems, mobile apps, and social networking. The goal is to harness interest in new technologies to develop health services, information, and products that motivate men to take action to improve their health.
This document summarizes a RIDDOR reportable hand injury that occurred while moving equipment through a doorway. The injured person's hand was caught between the equipment and doorframe as it swung during lifting. An initial assessment found minor injuries, but an x-ray the next day revealed a hairline fracture requiring antibiotics and time off. Corrective actions included emphasizing risk assessments of lifting operations and controls for pinch points to prevent future similar injuries.
The document outlines the UK government's plans to reform health and safety regulation in Britain in order to reduce red tape and bureaucracy on businesses. Key aspects of the reforms include:
1) Launching a voluntary register of Occupational Safety and Health Consultants to improve standards and ensure businesses receive competent advice.
2) Shifting the focus of health and safety inspections towards higher risk industries and serious breaches, while reducing inspections of lower risk workplaces.
3) Simplifying health and safety legislation and guidance through a review and new simplified guidance for small businesses.
The document provides tips and guidance for winter driving. It recommends (1) preparing your vehicle for winter by servicing it and checking fluids, tires, lights, and wipers; (2) taking an emergency kit with supplies in case you become stranded; and (3) changing your driving habits by slowing down, increasing following distances, and using caution on slippery roads. It also gives specific advice for driving in fog, snow, rain, wind, and floods. The overall message is to prepare your vehicle, drive carefully according to conditions, and know what to do in an emergency to stay safe during winter travel.
The document provides guidance on managing asbestos in buildings. It discusses the health risks of asbestos exposure and the poor historical management of asbestos. It introduces new survey types to better guide asbestos management. Surveyors must be competent and surveys must be thorough, identifying all asbestos present before any refurbishment works. Asbestos management requires proper planning, record keeping and removing asbestos by licensed contractors to avoid health risks and liability issues from improper asbestos handling.
HMG Response To One Death Is Too Many March 2010Alan Bassett
The UK is rightly regarded as having one of the best health and safety records in the world. Since 1997/8 the rate of fatal injuries to workers has fallen by 40
per cent, including in the construction sector, reflecting the significant focus on improving safety by the Health and Safety Executive, local authorities, businesses and trades unions. While this is very welcome, every death is one too many and a tragedy to those involved and their families. That is why we need to do more...

The document appears to be 3 scanned pages from a magazine or newspaper article discussing the benefits of meditation for reducing stress and anxiety. It notes that regular meditation practice can calm the mind and help people feel more relaxed. Research studies cited in the article also found meditation can positively impact the brain and may lessen symptoms for those suffering from anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

MAZZARANO , IMPEGNO MANTENUTO PER IL CARNEVALE MASSAFRESEPd Massafra
"Impegno mantenuto.
