This document provides instructions for a Reflected Best Self (RBS) exercise intended to help individuals identify and leverage their strengths. The 4-step exercise involves: 1) Gathering feedback from others on your strengths and best examples; 2) Identifying common themes in the feedback; 3) Composing a self-portrait highlighting your strengths; and 4) Explaining how your strengths could be applied in your current or future roles. The goal is to counterbalance traditional performance reviews that focus on weaknesses, and instead help individuals perform to their highest potential by playing to their strengths.
