Contrary to the highly collaborative nature of architectural practice, architecture education has traditionally been focused on individual skills development. The changing nature of knowledge generation now requires collaborative learning approaches. An international collaborative design studio run between 2008-2013 engaged students from Yildiz Technical University, Sarajevo University, and Twente University. The studio aimed to design sustainable and transformable buildings through collaborative processes that simulated distributed work environments. Students gained experience in remote collaboration, workshops, lectures, and interactions with industry and local stakeholders. This article proposes a new way to set up learning activities using Open Resources, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and Flipped Classroom modality (OBF). The OBF project intends to rebuilt traditional didactics of Mathematics and Physics in two classrooms (third year of Scientific Lyceum). Learning Units will be restructured according to the Innovative Design of Didactics guidelines.

- 1. Professor Daniele Gualeni has been working with our institution as a teacher since 2010. During these years, his extensive experience and his vast knowledge in the field of sustainable design and innovative materials has made him an important and valuable collaborator for our institution. After teaching "sustainable design" for two years on "Machina Enterprise", our professional course for young entrepreneurs, Professor Gualeni is currently teaching "Technology of innovative and sustainable Materials" in the fifth year of the university course in Interior Design at our academy, a university accredited at the European level in the field of art and design. The Professor Gualeni’s ability to recognise and evaluate the ongoing changes in the production processes and materials used in modern design makes him a unique and considerably important collaborator for a topic, such as sustainability, that is still the subject of debate and difficult to define, and about which it is often hard even to find texts and valid documents. Thanks to Professor Gualeni’s collaboration, in recent years our institute has been able to organise seminars and discussions that have presented new materials and cutting-edge technologies based on the highest criteria of sustainability and innovation to public opinion. Thanks to this contribution we have established collaborations and opened debates that have encouraged professionals and students to develop new projects and new uses of productive resources.
