Sherry Cullen has been a dedicated student of Dr. Shane Barry for two years, taking his courses in real estate and property development. I have known Sherry, as her lecturer and tutor, over the course of the last two years.
During that time she undertook courses I conducted: Introduction to Real Estate and
Property Development and the Property Development Process. I can confidently say
that Sherry has proved herself to be a dedicated student with a good work ethic.
Sherry regularly attended lectures and tutorials and consistently had undertaken assigned
exercises in preparation for these. Her enthusiastic nature supports a friendly and
courteous attitude to both faculty and other students. Sherry’s efforts have resulted in a
very strong academic record across various challenging courses. This comes from a
strong academic capacity and a good work ethic.
Sherry’s strengths appear to be based around her ability to work collaboratively with
diverse groups of students and faculty. This allows her to be adaptive in the way she can
take on new and challenging tasks. This is largely evidenced with Sherry undertaking
courses both in Urban and Environmental Planning and in a Business degree, which are
offered in very different faculties and schools.
I consider that Sherry would be a suitable applicant for any employment position in her
areas of interest.
