To Whom It May Concern:
Please let this letter serve as a business and personal reference for Ivan Schumann, whom I
have known professionally and personally for more than 10 years.
I first met Ivan when I was on the faculty of Crossroads Bible College in Indianapolis. At that
time, he was completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Leadership &
Ministries at Crossroads. An excellent student, Ivan was well known and liked at the college.
Ivan’s professional background in management, communications, leadership, sales and
community service is extensive and, frankly, amazing. His commendations, awards,
certifications, honors, civic and religious board memberships, and professional licenses
are too numerous to list.
For many years here in Indianapolis, Ivan was a well-known civic leader, especially in the
Christian and Hispanic communities. As a former television host, director of the Indianapolis
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, activist with the Church Federation of Indianapolis and
co-chair of the Hispanic Latino Forum (to name a few of his roles), Ivan’s work to advance
civic and social causes greatly impacted our city for the better. Over the years, Ivan has been
a guest on various television shows and has been the subject of numerous newspaper and
magazine articles.
Ivan is the type of person who genuinely cares about people. Moreover, he is highly intelligent
and motivated and can master anything to which he sets his mind. He is honest, trustworthy
and diligent. He would be an asset to any organization fortunate enough to hire him. Please call
me at 317.226.9709 if you need further information about Ivan. I am honored to consider him a
personal friend.
Sincerely,
Lisa Coffey
