Brandon, FL. 33511-7704 July 4, 2008 Dear Sir or Madam: It is with gratitude and praise, that I write this letter of reference for Lois Newby. As one of our Jonas trainers, when we converted Club software, Lois did a great job of coaching and guiding our office team. Lois also filled a key role for us, as an interim Controller for more than 4 months. She was able to streamline our systems, get our numbers verified in a timely manner and she was able to set up and train our Dock Staff with the point of sale. She revised our cash settlement, set up a cash over/short system, and reconciled many accounts to create a more efficient operation. She corrected several GL accounts, so the proper line items, were reporting to the correct department, and streamlined our payroll system. Lois, with much effort and determination, balanced several accounts, which were out of balance, and is leav.ingour accounting department in better shape than when she arrived. My hat is off to Lois, knowing this position was temporary; she put forth the effort of a seasoned veteran. She worked past the normal quitting time whenever asked, and helped field phone calls while at home answering questions about our proprietary system. Lois went over and above the call of duty, as an interim Controller, and I appreciate very much the professional way she has handled herself, even during stressful times. If she did not know how to do something, she was resourceful, and found out. She never said no, or I can't. I would highly recommend you give Lois the opportunity to do for you, what she did for uS...make us better!
