To Whom It May Concern:
Every year Arquitectonica accepts a limited number of interns as the result
of a rigorous application process. As a prospect architecture major at Pratt
Institute with no previous work experience, Alejandra did not match our typical
criteria. However, after reviewing her application and interviewing her, Alejandra
convinced us of her ability and prompted us to accept her for a 3 week internship.
Over the past weeks I have had the opportunity of working with and
supervising Alejandra here at ArquitectonicaGEO. She has proven through a
diligent work ethic her tremendous enthusiasm and passion for design. She took
on every task we assigned to her with remarkable eagerness and dedication,
often going above and beyond what was required.
Quite unusual for an intern, Alejandra worked on a variety of different
tasks with us and juggled these with astonishing ease. Her social and human
skills were evident as she was exposed to several different project teams and
managers through the variety in her work.
Alejandra demonstrated skill and comfort with Adobe Photoshop, and
InDesign. Any lack or experience she made up for with her ability to absorb
information rapidly and process it into the work she was asked to complete. She
was willing to work as many hours as it took to get the job done and was
constantly asking questions in order to understand the processes and protocols
of the firm.
It was a real pleasure to have Alejandra with us at Arquitectonica.
Between her enchanting attitude and her strong work ethic, her multi-cultural
background and her language skills, she will always have an open door with us,
and I am sure that she will excel in whichever field she chooses. We at
