Norman Davis has been working as the primary Construction Manager for Clearwire's microwave build in Sacramento, CA since March 2010. He has consistently delivered quality work on time and ahead of schedule despite demanding deadlines and changing priorities. Norman approaches problems with a sense of ownership and logical thinking to determine effective solutions. He builds strong relationships with his team and understands meeting goals requires team effort. His greatest strength is a willingness to get the job done through inner drive and self-motivation. 1. Please see my response in regards to your questions about Norman Davis. I apologize for the
delay. We are still in a market launch and it has been one of those weeks.
1. How do you know Norman?
I have been working directly with Norman Davis on the Clearwire project in Sacramento, CA.
2. How long did you work together?
We have been working together since March of 2010.
3. How would you describe Norman’s ability to meet deadlines?
The Cleawire build has been demanding and ever changing. Norman has been able to shift
focus and reprioritize on the key aspects of the build in this market. He is able to meet deadlines
with short notice and with less than desirable time constraints. His ability to manage our build
and maintain quality at such a rapid pace has been the primary reason this project remains ahead
of schedule.
4. What about the end product? Was it accurate as well as on time?
Norman consistently provides a quality product. Clearwire National recently conducted an audit
in Sacramento. The summary of the audit concluded that the Sacramento Market should share
best practices and the QC process to determine what procedures could be transferred to other
markets for their build. Norman is the primary Construction Manager for the microwave build and
the audit results were a direct reflection of his commitment to quality.
The results have been accurate and ahead of schedule.
5. When faced with an issue, how was Norman’s ability to work through that issue?
Norman approaches problems with a sense of ownership. He utilizes logical thinking to
determine the most effective solution. Additionally, Norman is not reactive by nature. When
required, he will take a step back to assess the situation in order to proceed with the best
possible solution.
6. In such a deadline driven environment, how did Norman interact with his team to meet
deliverables?
Norman is the type of individual that builds a strong relationship with those around him. He has
always been available to assist when the pressure builds. He understands it takes a team effort
to reach company set goals on a compressed schedule. He is always professional and
respectful.
7. In your opinion, what is Norman’s greatest professional strength?
Norman’s greatest professional strength is his attitude. He is always ready and willing to get the
job done. The build in this market requires individuals that have an inner drive and the ability to
self-motivate. He possesses both of those qualities.
8. In your opinion, was there anything Norman could have improved upon or develop as a
professional?
Yes. I think it would have benefited Norman to get a more in-depth understanding of Clearwire
outside of his roles and responsibilities. He would be a stronger asset to the team with that

2. knowledge. I would also like to be fair to Norman. There was virtually no time for this to happen
with our demanding schedule. I have no doubt that if the time was available that Norman would
have taken the initiative on his own.
9. If you were in a position to work with Norman again in the future, would you do so?
Absolutely. If I were asked to build a team for a project, Norman would be one of the first people
on my list.
In closing, I would like to reiterate that Norman would be a strong asset to your team. It will be
difficult to replace him.
