It’s Up to YOU!

Absentee voters can:
• vote in the auditor’s office at the Shelby
County Court House in person before Nov. 6
OR
• mail-in an absentee ballot postmarked by
Nov. 5

Voters can also register at the polling
place the same day as the election,
November 6. Be sure to bring a photo ID.

Polling places in Shelby County:

• Elk Horn, IA
• Irwin, IA
• Shelby, IA
• Earling, IA
• Harlan, IA – 4 voting precincts, plus Lincoln
Township

Harlan area precincts vote at the Therkildsen Center
706 Victoria Street Harlan, Iowa

Voting Date: Tuesday, November 6, 2012
Polls are open from 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM

As a U.S. citizen, it’s YOUR right
and responsibility to vote!
