We support the packaging, not the bits.
"Full support" for a database as part of Red Hat Enterprise Linux includes only support for the
packaging, installation, and limited configuration of the database that is built, tested, and
distributed by Red Hat. Red Hat is not able to troubleshoot the database itself, including
database schema design, table manipulation, database functions, and performance tuning
against user data. This also includes the ability to provide critical bug fix and security errata.
As stated above, product end of life dates can affect "full support" if package updates are no
longer provided upstream.’’
