6. Red Door Events - How We Work
Red Door Events specialise in offering bespoke interactive experiences.
While a small number of our activities are ‘off the shelf’, these are always built, clad and
branded to tie in with the events overarching concept. However, most of what we offer
is completely bespoke and created to align with the experience that our clients wish to
offer.
We work closely with clients to ensure that we deliver an experience that supports the
brand as well as exciting the participant. We are just as comfortable working within a
rigid brief as we are when given creative license to come up with new concepts.

on events of all scale; from single event installations at rugby matches to the building and
running of 500m2 interactive village in Abu Dhabi.

12. Rugby Events - Up & Under
One of our most popular activities, the Up & Under is an activity that can be used by all. It
serves perfectly as a centre show piece whilst bringing out some fun friendly competition
between spectators and participants.
The Up & Under provides various areas for branding giving maximum exposure to the brand.
13. Big/Mini Bosh Challenge
This activity gives participants the chance to show off their power against a tackle bag. The
bag itself, which is padded and fully branded, houses a sensor which registers the force
impact in newtons. Upon impact, the participants score is immediately displayed on the LED
screen provided. Prizes should be given to those who achieve the highest score.
Space Required: 3m (L) x 2m (W)
14. Kicking Simulator
Housed inside a bespoke frame, the kicking
challenge projects the image of a set of rugby
posts sat in front of a fully branded stadium
stand.
The participant must then aim for the
posts and kick a rugby ball at the screen,
which will then simulate where the kick
would travel.
A fun activity that promotes friendly
competition and tests the kicking skills of
all participants.
15. Target Pass
A simple yet effective design that allows all of the
participants to test their line-out skills / passing skills
by aiming at cut-out targets.
The targets and level of difficulty differ in size and are
integrated into a graphic backdrop creating a great
visual impact.
This activity can be housed in a number of fixtures to
cater for size and budget.
Minimum Space Required: 5m (L) x 3m (W) x 3m (H)
16. Precision Passing
Fun and challenging for all ages! Using
unique sensor pad technology you can test
how precise your passing is by aiming your
pass at the various targets. Each target
relates to a score so the more difficult the
pass, the higher the score. Simple!
The score is registered once the target is
hit and scores are displayed on the LED
display for all to see. The winner is the
participant who achieves the highest score
in a set number of passes or within a given
time limit.
The activity can be set up in minimal
time and can be fully branded to fit your
requirements.
Space Required: 4m (L) x 6m (W) x 4m (H)
17. Speed Pass
See if you can pass as fast as the pros! Throw
the ball to the target area and our state of the
art radar system will measure the speed of
your pass. This will then be displayed for all
to see on a screen at the front of the activity.
The inflatable structure is easy to set up
and takes minimal time. The back panel and
attaching logo strips can be fully branded to
fit your requirements.

18. Batak
The Batak game only requires a small playing space making it suitable for all types
of events.
This activity tests the participants hand-eye coordination by randomly lighting up a series
of buttons that must be struck out as quickly as possible.
This is a test of speed and reactions which ties in well with the rugby theme.
19. Super Pass
Combining speed and accuracy,
the Super Pass asks that participants
run to the ball and pass it as fast
as they can at a sensor pad which
displays the outline of a player.
The score that is given is a
combination of the speed of the
participant (between starting their
initial movement and the ball hitting
the screen) and also the accuracy
of the pass (detected by the sensor
pad). An all-round test of rugby
ability!
20. Drop Kick Challenge
A bespoke activity that we created to fit a creative brief
at the Cathay Pacific / HSBC Hong Kong Rugby Sevens.
This activity gave participants three opportunities to
drop kick a rugby ball into a washing machine (to
re-create a kick that was made in the TV commercial for
the tournament)
This drop kick challenge could be re-created to integrate
posts or a target. Another option would be to include a
countdown timer to increase the pressure on the kicker.
21. Meet The Players/Autographs
This is an excellent opportunity for brand
exposure while offering an interactive and
engagingexperiencetoyoureverydayrugby
fan and VIP’s alike.
To create this, we would have a controlled
environment for players to meet the fans
and sign autographs and have photos taken.
This also provides an ideal scenario for social
media integration.
22. Pass On The Move
The idea behind this activity is to test the
participants ability to pass the ball while
running at speed.
The participant is given a set amount of
time (that is displayed on the countdown
screen) to pass as many balls into the two
target nets while moving back and forth
from end to end.
This design can be adjusted to fit
different briefs.
Space Required: approx. 8m x 5m
23. Photo / Video Experience
Thephotoandvideoexperiencesareentirely
bespoke and can be made to fit very specific
client briefs.
The photo experience can be designed to
incorporate green screen or physical props.
Both options provide the possibility
of handing out branded souvenirs to
participants in the form of either a printed
photo or a video on a branded USB stick.
This is another great opportunity for social
media interaction.
24. Legends Challenge
A timed challenge that puts participants
fundamental rugby skills to the test!
In its current guise the Legends challenge
assesses each players ability to pass, run
and tackle at speed – however the sections
within the activity can be amended to suit
each client.
The timed element and scoring system
creates a level playing field for participants
of all ages and ability while the size of
the structure gives maximum branding
opportunity to the client.
This design can be adjusted to fit
different briefs.
