5. What is Social Media Recruitment?
Social media recruiting is the means by which candidates are
recruited using social media platforms as talent databases, or
for advertising openings and positions. It is the practice of
identifying, attracting, engaging and hiring both active and
passive candidates, by using the social networks they're on
6. Social Media Recruitment Process.
In Social Media we can Recruit by two
processes:
• Searching for a candidate by ourselves.
• A candidate search for us.
7. Process 1: Searching for a candidate
•In this case a HR will search candidate
himself/herself .
• either by going through their linkedin profiles
and check their achievements and skills.
•Accordingly they will give offer to the
candidate to join them.
•This is one of the approach. But for this you
need to well-maintain your profiles.
8. Process 2: Candidate Search for Us
•In this case a candidate will search for a
recruiter.
• By visiting the company sites. In order to get
good results company needs to maintain their
site by posting new stuff and rapidly resolving
the candidate’s queries.
•If a company site will look effective as well as
advantageous to the candidate then he/she will
apply there.
10. Chances of Getting selected by Social Sites
The chances in this case is much as a
candidate is applying from home and do not
need to go here and there in search of a job.
But the question arises will they reply us on
these sites. See the below given figure you
will get your answer.
11. Conclusion
In conclusion I would like to say that
recruiting on Social media is far more
better than the casual recruiting system.
As in this one do not need to run here and
there to apply in companies everything is
available on social sites
