Re: Eva Valero Cabré
To Whom it May Concern,
It is with great pleasure that we write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Eva Valero
Cabré. We have worked with Ms. Cabré for almost 3 years. Our research group and that
of Dr. Viloslada, for whom Eva is the Project Manager, share a common laboratory space.
Our groups have common research interests and we have several joint grants. Thus over
the past 3 years we have had ample opportunity to work with Eva.
Eva’s knowledge of Project Management is broad and comprehensive. She has
been very important in guiding us through all aspects of grant applications and
management. She is very well informed regarding the local, national and European
Commission rules and regulations such as those of MINECO and ISCIII in Spain and The
European Research Commission and Horizon2020 programs in the EU. She has interfaced
with the funding programs of many philanthropic and patient organizations resulting in
successful applications. Her grant management skills are excellent and her work is always
carried out efficiently and accurately. Importantly, Eva works well as a team member but
is also able to work independently. She can trouble shoot and problem solve on her own.
In addition to her work as Project Manager, Eva has been responsible for the
Neuroimmunology Program website and other communications with groups such as
patient organizations and health care institutions. Her work in developing the program
website has been critical to the success and visibility of the program. Eva has organized
meetings of our investigators and team members. As our team members come from the
research and clinical environments, these meetings covered many topics. Eva always
demonstrated a good understanding of the broad programmatic issues being discussed and
often, we looked to her for guidance on how to address these.
On a personal level, Eva is well liked and highly respected. Her interpersonal skills
are excellent and she has an engaging personality. She works hard and will put in extra
hours to get the job done without complaint. If given the opportunity we would work with
Eva again without hesitation and recommend her most enthusiastically.
