Brianna DeStratis worked at Raoul as a showroom intern during the summer semester of
2015. She was always cheerful, pleasant, hardworking and a self-starter while at Raoul.
We loved having her as part of our team.
During her semester-long internship, Brianna took every task head-on. No assignment
was too menial; everything that was asked of her was done with a smile. Brianna began
each morning by updating Raoul’s social media pages. She updated the Pinterest,
Instagram and Joor accounts with the latest domestic and international press. Brianna was
able to take creative liberties when working on the Pinterest account. She succeeded in
curating a visually appealing board that focused on Raoul’s brand identity. Brianna’s
efforts resulted in a tremendous increase in Raoul’s fan following. She drafted mass
email blasts that were sent to Raoul’s US buyers and prospects in order to share company
promotions. Part of Brianna’s day-to-day job was tracking hundreds of samples that
moved between Raoul’s showroom, PR office and various publications and celebrities.
Here, Brianna proved to be organized and attentive. While Brianna worked at Raoul she
was able to assist on a web photoshoot. During the shoot she aided in the coordination of
outfits and models. One of Brianna’s largest projects was prospecting new boutiques in
the United States in order to increase Raoul’s presence in this region. Brianna made cold
phone calls and sent out prospecting packages to new boutiques.
Brianna excelled at each and every task that was handed to her. We valued her aesthetic
and opinion. Her tremendous abilities never ceased to amaze us. With her ability,
dedication and creativity we have no doubts that Brianna will be great at anything she
chooses to do.
