To Whom It May Concern:
I had the privilege ofcoaching JV (two years head coach) and varsity football (two years
assistant head coach) at Stevenson High School from 2004 through 2008, while also serving as
the CEO of Pebble Beach Company. We took a program that had averaged two/three wins a
year prior to my tenure and achieved a record of 25-12-1 during this four year period.
One competitive advantage that helped us achieve this turnaround was our scouting, filming,
video editing, and tendency analysis ofour own games and our opponents. Keith Stephens led
this effort for us. He routinely shot three to four games a week for us and then worked with the
coaching staff inputting the data into LRS (football software editing program), generating
reports, and analyzing tendencies.
Keith did an outstanding job for us in all aspects during this four year period. He has an
excellent understanding of football (his father played at ND) which you don't always find with
people filming football games. He was extremely reliable, dedicated, responsive and thorough in
everything he did for the program. Keith has an outstand.ing attitude and strives for perfection in
performing his assignments. Many times we had to adjust the filming or editing schedule or
work longer than anticipated. Keith was always responsive to these changes and did whatever it
took to get the job done. It was not unusual for him to work with the coaching staff from 8:00am
to 12:00 midnight on the days after a game.
Keith was a lot of fun to work with, the quality of his work was outstanding and I would highly
recommend him for a position in sports filming or video editing.
