This is a quote from an RJR executive, his company makes camel cigarettes. Someone asked him, do you use your own product, he replied with this quotes. “We don’t smoke [it]. We just sell it. We reserve the right to smoke for the young, the poor, the black and the stupid.”
These are 7 tobacco executives appearing before a senate hearing, each one raised their right hand, swore to tell the truth, and then said they didn’t believe tobacco was addictive. And this was in the late 90’s! It was a proven fact that nicotine was addictive and that cigarettes caused cancer.
This is a photo from the tobacco document repository in Minnesota. This is just one aisle, of millions of pages of documents. There are approximately 40 million pages of documents in this repository. We got these documents when the state of Minnesota sued the tobacco industry in 1996, and won! So now we can search through all their old documents, and reveal the truth.

We have been successful, but can you guess three of the four magazines that might be found in your school library that still would have tobacco ads in them? They are all owned by one company, can you guess which? Time, Newsweek or Bonnier? BONNIER! – We are currently working with our New York State Attorney General to not allow that these magazines be sent to our school with tobacco ads in them. We have also been in contact with other states to join us in this effort.
