• Formerly Rayproof Canada, which was founded in
1987 through a joint venture between Shielding
Systems Corporation and Emcon.
• Emcon’s interests purchased in 1988 by Shielding
Systems Corporation, making it a wholly owned
subsidiary of Bairnco.

• Renamed to Raymond EMC and became a
Canadian privately-owned Company in 1994.
• Headquartered and manufacturing in Ottawa,
Ontario, with our US sales office in Atlanta
Georgia.

The 90s
• Opens its manufacturing facility in Ottawa, Canada
• Introduces innovative designs, including the

• Versatile design, fully reversible door can be
site-modified to left or right hand, and in or out
swing.
• Introduces the QuietBox line of table-top, and
cabinet shielded enclosures.
1994
• Rayproof Canada is
