2. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY SPECIAL THANKS OF
GRATITUDE TO MY TEACHER DEEPSHIKA MAM, WHO
GAVE ME THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITYTO DO THIS
WOUNDERFUL PROJECT ON IN DOING A LOT OF
RESEARCH AND I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT SO MANY
THINGS I AM REALLY THANKFUL TO THEM.
3. For finding the solution of a problem,
one needs to analyze the situation first
and find the root causes.
4. .The situation of Women safety in
India (even leading ill fame of our
country), the main causes would be.
5. Years and years of cultural and ethics
misinterpretation:
• Any culture would tell to treat women with
respect and keep her safe. That is why men were
asked to do the labour work outside, while
women being the delicate darling were supposed
to handle the house which in itself is a bigger
thing. But now the culture is demeaning to the
women and treated as a sub ordinate to men
with all the weird and illogical principles in the
name of Indian Culture leading to no freedom to
women and her safety.
6. Moral Policing:
• A very disturbing example of the above two is
moral policing. Thrashing your own
“principles” on the name of development of a
society. Women in a skirt – bad manners – rape
– she deserved it. A women and a man – bad
manners. A woman alone – bad manners.
7. Improper School Education:
• This is the case where education is provided
but not the right one. In the textbooks used by
various schools, the women is shown to be
washing clothes, dishes and all household
work whereas man the “money- maker”. This
sets an idea in the children from their
childhood regarding the position of the women
and how they could be dominant to them.
8. Lack Of Self-confidence:
• Women are told to be the sensitive and shy
person. In case of any problem most women
hope for someone to rescue them instead of
taking charge on their own.
9. Improper Brought Up Of Men From
Their Childhood:
• If one is brought up in a house where the
husband beats up his wife, or any such
scenario there would be two cases – whether
the kid will understand his mom's pain or he
will think his dad’s strength is correct.
10. If we really want to change our society and make India a better
place for women and men, we need to start it from the root.
There should be a tough education system with no biasing and
also stresses on various social issues including this. Schools
shouldn't be limited to teach English but it should teach values
to the students and respect to each other. It should be taught
from the childhood that a girl should be able to handle herself
and her problems and that she is strong enough. Guys should
be taught to respect girls, not to objectify them and the feeling
should be mutual. Both guys and girls should act as a support
to each other rather than breaking each other down.
Not just the kids, adults too need reforming in their weird
idiosyncrasy about various aspects.
