Rape is recognized as a significant national issue, with one in three women experiencing abuse, and rising cases in Pakistan are breeding mistrust among women. Contributing factors to this rise include neuropsychological impairments, societal views treating women as objects, rape culture, ineffective law enforcement, and a lack of sex education. Addressing the issue requires education, legal knowledge, improved policing, and a shift in societal focus from victim-blaming to accountability for perpetrators.
