I have enjoyed a successful career in Mechanical Engineering in the Middle East and India, progressing to
my most recent position as Maintenance Planner with MODEC Company,Ghana, West Africa. I plan to
continue the development of my career in a new environment where my technical and organizational skills

I worked as an Offshore Maintenance Planner at FPSO Kwame Nkrumah, Jubilee field project (MV21),
Ghana, West Africa for Tullow Ghana Limited from 30th March-2010 with 4 Weeks ON and 4 Weeks
OFF leave schedule with the responsibilities of:
 Ensure that the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – AMOS is fully implemented
and properly utilized in planning activities whilst taking account of field requirements.
 Ensure to utilize AMOS Maintenance Management System for the data update and closure of work
activities. Track the work orders and requests flow and assure data integrity.
 The primary responsibility includes implementation of preventative maintenance programs for all
production equipment and other service equipment.

I worked as an Onshore Maintenance Planner for HESS Company (FPSO/Offshore Platforms/TLP’s)
from April 2008 with 7 weeks ON and 3 weeks OFF rotation at Bata Wood Group Engineering Office, is
based onshore and is the focal point of HESS’s integrated planning effort.I am responsible for
developing, preparing, maintaining and analyzing the integrated scheduling thereby helping to ensure all
work conducted offshore is carried out in a safe, efficient and synchronized manner. This covers the
planning of all disciplines including Drilling, Well Engineering and Operations, Maintenance, Integrity and
Projects with the responsibilities of :
 Collate planning information from the onshore and offshore work owners and develop schedules to
represent this work in the integrated plan. The schedules are required to contain all phases of the
work, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation and commissioning.
 Contact the offshore planning team and other offshore work owners on a daily basis to discuss any
issues with the plan and to obtain progress updates.
 Responsible for the creation and development of the operations &maintenance, integrated 90-day plan
including major maintenance, engineering and construction activities in MS Projects and Major
shutdown plans and other relevant plans as requested by various departments.
 Develop and update activity plans for projects, construction services and maintenance activities in

This was my 2nd stint with AFPC. I worked as a Planning Engineer from September 2006 to March 2008
with 29 days ON & 28 days OFF rotation cycle in OME (Operations Maintenance& Engineering)
Department with the responsibilities of:
 Review and monitor the progress of maintenance and project schedules against plan and highlight
deviations to management through regular progress reports. (MS Project / Immpower-CMMS)
 Provide planning and scheduling support for asset and project work activities through close liaison with
the Project Engineers, Maintenance & Operations personnel.
 Provide information / advice to project managers and project teams on actions (progress, materials
&equipments) that can be taken or are necessary to achieve project goals and agreed milestones.
 Provide department input to Area shutdown planning and assist area planners for the preparation of
overall shutdown plans, ad hoc plans and other regular plans.
 Provide weekly, monthly plans and performance (KPIs) against the plan with backlog details,
forthcoming shutdown warnings with dates & shutdown jobs list to each section head & supervisor.
 Coordinate with department staff in the areas, contractors and area planners to prepare the
department integrated plans and to monitor site progress against plan.
 Prepare and issue the monthly project schedule reports, regular reports and other analytical project
support reports, when required. Detailed planning plans for project upgrades & modification works.
 Prepare & issue integrated 7-day, 14-day & 90-day plans for all sections and annual plan for
department involvement in S/D and Non-S/D related inspections of static equipment.

 Attend at area coordination, planning meetings and to provide feedback to section heads on all

overview of all priority activities at the meeting.

4. AL FURAT PETROLEUM COMPANY (AFPC) – Syria Aug-1997 to Dec-2005

I worked as Maintenance Planning Supervisor from August 1997 to December 2005 with rotation
schedule 29 days ON & 28 days OFF at AFPC in OTS (Operations Technical Support) Department with
the responsibilities of:
 Coordinate all activities required to ensure a steady workflow through all sub-sections of the OTS
Department sections (Central Workshops, Static, Inspection, Instrumentation and Commissioning
sections) and with production departments to satisfy their requirements.
 Receiving, administration and distribution of various incoming work orders / requests, ensure requests
are clear and correctly specified, when in doubt communicate with the respective originators. Review
and issue daily maintenance schedules and verify the work orders received from different areas have
been scheduled.
 Prepare and issue 14-day, 90-day, yearly, 2-yearly plans are done using MS Project. Prepare,
compile and issue various reports, e.g. Status report, Weekly, Two weekly plans compliance report
and monthly maintenance department report, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) report etc.
 Development and implementation of a major overhaul maintenance program for critical equipment
located throughout the Oil field, and forward planning for materials & manpower requirements for
scheduled jobs and giving field personnel an up-to date status of all ongoing work.
 Prepare planning of individual jobs by taking priorities into account, to ensure a balanced workload,
minimizing overtime requirements; after consulting with concern section supervisors. Generate, issue
and follow-up of preventive and planned maintenance plans.

 Maintain close contacts with the Central Planning section as well as the various Area Planning
sections in order to prevent clashing during shutdown, required workshop facility usage.
 Participating in the Filed Shutdown activates like, shut down meetings, preparation of the Scope of
Work (SoW) for the planned shutdown jobs, Estimate manpower, spares / materials and equipment in
consultation with Maintenance Engineers.
 Preparing Shutdown planning and scheduling, documentation packages, preparing material take of
listing and CMMS networks for major plant shutdowns.
 Develop action plan for plant major overhaul for, planned / opportunity shutdown based on out-
standing repair and inspection works from the work orders backlog.
 Organizing periodical planning meetings and takes minutes of meetings.
 Maintains a close follow of major schemes execution, analysis progress, report deviation from the
program and proposes alternatives.
 Liaise with Materials Engineer to ensure that materials take off lists are provided and that appropriate
material requisitions are processed for all work items in the shutdown.
 Review Contractor’s work plans & schedules and any proposed changes, to prepare progress reports
and update schedules & reviews critical items.
 Set up and maintain an information system with the section’s / shop’s customers on causes for delay
of planned completion dates for their job requests.
 Maintain a reporting system enabling fast access to information on jobs at hand in the various sections
as well as historical information on work completed.
 Preparation and administration of job release documents, ensure job / equipment history has been
recorded in CMMS, originators have been informed and arrange for collection.
 Estimation of resources, including spares and materials, required for the various work requests, in
close cooperation with the various section supervisors.
 Maintain close communication with the Supplies / Purchase department on spares requirements,
indicate expected changes in consumption patterns, advise on min / max stock levels. Communicate
discrepancies on the materials required and received.
 Assist the different sections in preparation, submission, receiving and follow up on all forms of material
requests, such as MR’s, MIV’s and LPO’s. Act as a focal point for all sections / shops on material and
equipment questions from the various supply sources.
 Maintain comprehensive records of all material orders for the various sections and expedite / chase
where required. Report status on a weekly basis to section supervisors and Head of Sections.
 Ensure that the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – Immpower is fully
implemented and properly utilized in planning activities whilst taking account of field requirements.
 Participates in preparation of Capital and Operations budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) along with Budget
Controller and Section Heads.
 Development of National Planning supervisor and provides information for on-the-job- training of staff
as required.
5. QATAR GENERAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION (QGPC - Qatar) April to June 1997
(Sponsored by “Specialized Oil Services” WLL - ASAHI) 3 months shutdown
Here I worked as a Shutdown Planning Supervisor with QGPCforNGL-1, NGL-2 & MEROX Plants 3
months shutdown works during April to June 1997 with the responsibilities of:
 Registering, Monitoring and Reporting on a daily basis, the availability levels at site of Contractor
resources (Equipment, plant and category wise manpower including Sub - Contractor’s manpower)
during the mobilization period, shutdown services and post shutdown period in the form of daily reports
and histograms.
 Monitoring and Controlling the progress of work at base location and recording the progress of each
shutdown activity with delays, delay causes and corrective action proposed and “ S ” curves showing
planned Vs actual progress reports submitted on a daily basis for review by QGPC representatives
using MS Projects & Primavera-P3 and other spreadsheets.
 Inputs all the plans into Primavera-P3 and updates them and produce plans & reports for QGPC.
 Attending daily site meetings to highlight problems in the area affecting services progress and for the
earliest notification of any delay caused by QGPC or by the Contractor or his Sub - Contractors
personnel.
 Analyze site progress report of shutdown and highlight to all concerned any changes in the critical pat h

6. NAGARJUNA FERTILIZERS AND CHEMICALS LTD., (NFCL) (India) Aug-1996 to Mar-1997
(Ammonia and Urea Expansion Project - Kakinada - India)
(Contractor by “Petron Engineering Construction Ltd.,” Mumbai - India)
I worked with M/S Petron Engineering Construction Ltd., as Site Engineer at M/S Nagarjuna
Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd., (NFCL) Kakinada - Ammonia and Urea Expansion Project with the
responsibilities of Fabrication & Erection works of Steel structures and Erection of Heavy equipment’s /
machinery jobs supervision at the work site.
 Preparation of the “Equipment Erection Schemes” (graphs) for equipment’s to be erected at different
elevations with available Crane capacity.
 Erection of different type of equipment’s at different elevations with the different Crane capacities.
 Alignment of Equipment’s both vertically and horizontally by using plumb, theodolite, dumpy-level,
spirit-level and water level tube etc.,
 Grouting of the equipment’s after alignment with special Cements / Compounds.
 Preparation of billing for the erected equipment’s.

I worked as Area Planner in the Maintenance Department with the responsibilities:

Power-saws, Plate bending and Cutting machines.
 Provides solutions for technical problems and recommendations for routine maintenance and major
turnarounds on all mechanical equipment’s.
 Participate in Shutdown and Turnaround maintenance planning meetings and implementation of
preventive maintenance works, Spare parts ordering and subordinates training.

Review and issue daily maintenance schedules and verify the work orders received from different areas have been scheduled.  Prepare and issue 14-day, 90-day, yearly, 2-yearly plans are done using MS Project. Communicate discrepancies on the materials required and received.  Assist the different sections in preparation, submission, receiving and follow up on all forms of material requests, such as MR’s, MIV’s and LPO’s. Act as a focal point for all sections / shops on material and equipment questions from the various supply sources.  Maintain comprehensive records of all material orders for the various sections and expedite / chase where required. QATAR GENERAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION (QGPC - Qatar) April to June 1997 (Sponsored by “Specialized Oil Services” WLL - ASAHI) 3 months shutdown Here I worked as a Shutdown Planning Supervisor with QGPCforNGL-1, NGL-2 & MEROX Plants 3 months shutdown works during April to June 1997 with the responsibilities of:  Registering, Monitoring and Reporting on a daily basis, the availability levels at site of Contractor resources (Equipment, plant and category wise manpower including Sub - Contractor’s manpower) during the mobilization period, shutdown services and post shutdown period in the form of daily reports and histograms.  Monitoring and Controlling the progress of work at base location and recording the progress of each shutdown activity with delays, delay causes and corrective action proposed and “ S ” curves showing planned Vs actual progress reports submitted on a daily basis for review by QGPC representatives using MS Projects & Primavera-P3 and other spreadsheets.  Inputs all the plans into Primavera-P3 and updates them and produce plans & reports for QGPC.  Attending daily site meetings to highlight problems in the area affecting services progress and for the earliest notification of any delay caused by QGPC or by the Contractor or his Sub - Contractors personnel.  Analyze site progress report of shutdown and highlight to all concerned any changes in the critical pat h due to rescheduling of activities.
