Christiane Kurz - The new Mobile Challenge: Offline-Enablement for Web Applic...Codemotion
As mobile devices become more and more diverse and ubiquitous, but network connections still cannot be relied on at all times, a new challenge arises for all those who are developing web applications: What if your user gets disconnected from the internet? How will your applications react? Will they just fail showing an error, or will they still be usable? What does it take to make a web application offline-proof? This talk will give insight into proven user experience patterns, how to solve issues like caching files and storing data offline, as well as into current technical limitations.
How to Define and Share your Event APIs using AsyncAPI and Event API Products...HostedbyConfluent
Defining Asynchronous APIs and sharing them with your developer community is the most effective way for internal app developers and partners to create new services using real-time event streams. But how do you do it? What specification do you use to define the APIs? What are the best practices for sharing them with the developer community? What framework can you use to code? And what’s next? How do you manage the lifecycle of these APIs? In this talk, Fran Mendez, founder of AsyncAPI and Jonathan Schabowsky, Solace CTO Architect will introduce you to the AsyncAPI specification and show you two different methods to define and share your event APIs, quickly get up to speed, and more. You will learn how to create a Kafka application using asynchronous APIs in minutes!

Apache Flink is an open source stream processing framework developed by the Apache Software Foundation. The core of Apache Flink is a distributed streaming dataflow engine written in Java and Scala. Apache Flink’s dataflow programming model provides event-at-a-time processing on both finite and infinite datasets. At a basic level, Flink programs consist of streams and transformations. Conceptually, a stream is a (potentially never-ending) flow of data records, and a transformation is an operation that takes one or more streams as input, and produces one or more output streams as a result. Programs can be written in Java, Scala, Python, and SQL and are automatically compiled and optimized into dataflow programs that are executed in a cluster or cloud environment.

AMIS 25: Moving Integration to the CloudMatt Wright
The growth of cloud has fueled the need to integrate Cloud applications with each other and with applications that reside on premise.
Traditional integration platforms are evolving into offerings called integration platform as a service (iPaaS) primarily targeted at cloud 2 cloud integrations. This session is designed to educate the audience about what it means to move integration to the cloud, and use customer case studies to provide insight into how organizations are doing this today, including:
1. Understand why you would move integrations to the cloud and which integrations are prime candidates for iPaaS
2. Understand some of the common implementation challenges and what you can do now to simplify future cloud migrations
3. Understand some of the critical deployment and operational monitoring considerations in moving integrations to the cloud

6. POD 1 & 2 URL STANDARDIZATION CANCELLED
Oracle Eloqua URL standardization for both Pod 1 and Pod 2 have been postponed indefinitely.
• The certificates in question will be renewed so that traffic from the URLs with "legacy" naming
conventions will continue to be redirected appropriately and there will be no disruption on your
end. As there is no longer an expiration date, any calls (API calls, redirects, etc.) to the old
URLs will continue to work.
• While the intent was to standardize our URL naming conventions, Oracle recognizes that these
changes may require a substantial effort for some organizations, and as such, are opting to
provide extra time to update the URLs you may have in place as CRM embedded web links, API
calls, redirects, etc.
• If you have already updated your URLs, thank you! We appreciate that you have already
undertaken the effort to update to our modern Pod naming convention.
Next Steps:
While it still recommended that you proceed with the URL changes, as they will eventually be
required, you can now choose to do so at your convenience. Please rest assured that you will have
adequate warning (at least 6 months) when a new date is set. That said, you are asked to
immediately start using the updated URLs in any new API calls, redirects and so forth. More
information can be found on the Product Notice in Topliners.
