Koppal – District of Karnataka. In KFIL manufacturer’s foundry grad pig iron and grey iron castings for
automobiles. Some of KFIL esteemed customers include Maruthi udyog, Mahindra and Mahindra, Punjab
tractors etc.
 I joined as Sr.Engineer, I Looking of all electrical accessories related to 2 x 250 M3
Blast furnaces
and 7 MW (2 x 3.5) & 5 MW Turbo generator power plants. Some of the equipments are
Transformers up to 4 MVA, breakers up to 11KV, PCCs, MCCs, Control panels, Motors up to 580
KW (3.3KV), PLCs, MLDB panels 50/15 EOT Cranes, E.T.Hoist etc…
 Planning of spares and consumables required for MBF & power plant. And also major capital
relining repair shut down.
 Planning & preparing maintenance schedule, work instructions & check list
 Erection, testing and commissioning of 3.5MWX2 & 5MW Power Plant, various other HT & LT
electrical equipments and panels including HT & LT MCC motors, VFD, PDB, and LDB etc.
 Co-ordination with power plant people to ensure uninterrupted power to MBF & other areas.
 To enforce safety regulations in my dept. to ensure safety for the dept, employees.
