This document analyzes regional differences in innovation and economic performance in Canada's information and communication technology (ICT) industry. It finds that provinces with higher levels of collaboration between firms, universities, and other stakeholders tend to see greater economic growth than provinces where firms operate more independently and focus on intellectual property protection. The key factors of innovation culture identified are the importance firms place on proximity to knowledge institutions and the level of interaction between firms and external organizations. Provinces where firms view collaboration as important and interact frequently with other organizations tend to have higher levels of innovation and better economic performance in the ICT industry.

Partially Replacement of Clay by S.T.P. Sludge in Brick ManufacturingAM Publications
In many countries, sludge is a serious problem due to its high treatment costs and the risks to environment and human health. The sludge presents increasingly difficult problem to cities of all sizes because of the scarcity of suitable disposal sites, increasing labour costs, and environmental concerns. The study investigated the use of water treatment sludge incorporated with clay. In this study bricks were produced with sewage sludge additions ranging from 20, 25, 30 and 40% by dry weight respectively and compare produce brick with regular brick. Bricks with a sludge content of up to 40 % were capable of meeting the relevant technical standards. However, if bricks with more than 30 % sludge addition are not recommended for use because they are brittle in nature and easily broken even when handled gently as well as colour is not as per the requirement. Also from this investigation me can solve disposal problem completely and also construct and economical structure with easy designing.

Facial Expression Recognition Using Local Binary Pattern and Support Vector M...AM Publications
This document discusses facial expression recognition using local binary patterns and support vector machines. It begins by introducing facial expression recognition and its importance. It then describes preprocessing face images, detecting faces, extracting features using local binary patterns, and classifying expressions with support vector machines. Specifically, it details extracting LBP histograms from local regions of faces, concatenating them into a feature vector, and using an SVM for multi-class classification of expressions like happy, sad, angry, etc. Overall, the document provides an overview of the key steps involved in an automatic facial expression recognition system using LBP features and SVM classification.
O documento discute vários aspectos da fé cristã, incluindo a divindade de Cristo, o Espírito Santo, o amor de Deus e o dever de amar ao próximo. Passagens bíblicas são citadas para apoiar essas doutrinas cristãs fundamentais.
1) The document discusses Aristotle's observations and theories about circular motion, which he believed drove the motion of celestial bodies like planets and stars.
2) Aristotle divided all motion into two categories - natural circular motion of heavenly bodies, and forced linear motion on Earth caused by pushes and pulls.
3) Modern mechanics understands celestial motion as a combination of linear motion and gravity, rather than needing angels or gods to continuously power circular orbits as Aristotle believed.
Studying the effects of Fibers and Mineral Admixtures on High Strength ConcreteAM Publications
This paper investigates on analyzing the effects of use of fibers and mineral admixtures in the mechanical
properties of high strength concrete. This study involves the use of different mineral admixtures like fly ash, ground
granulated blast furnace slag, silica fume along with steel fibers. It also includes determination of mix proportioning with
different mineral admixtures and steel fibers, determination of water binder ratio, determination of basic properties of
concrete such as tensile strength, compressive strength, flexural strength and water permeability. One of the main tasks of
the construction industry is to increase the strength and reliability of structures while reducing construction costs.
Effective use of fiber reinforced concrete is likely to lead to reduction in reinforcement. In the previous studies, very less
research is carried out on use of fibers with a combination of two or more admixtures. Hence, it is felt that there is a need
to explore the feasibility of arriving at an optimum mix using a combination of fibers with two or more mineral
admixtures, so as to increase the properties at minimum cost.
Codit presents the slide deck of the presentation on Swagger, given by Massimo Crippa (Codit) on Integration Monday.
In this session, Massimo did go through the Swagger specification and some open source tools built on top of Swagger. This included Swagger editors and how they can be used to create our API stubs, the Swashbuckle tool to auto-generate swagger.json, to keep it in sync with the server code and to make it discoverable. Finally he demonstrated the Swagger integration in the API Management space (Azure API Management and Sentinet).

1. The paper discusses the need for barrier-free or universally designed hotels in smart cities in India. Smart cities aim to be sustainable, inclusive and equitable, but existing design principles can act as barriers.
2. Universal design principles focus on inclusion, equality and independence for all users. A comprehensive universal design framework is proposed that incorporates universal design principles, principles specific to India, and environmental sustainability.
3. Adopting comprehensive universal design in hotels located in smart cities could help planners achieve equity, quality of life, social inclusion and environmental goals for residents of all abilities. Barrier-free hotels are important to promote accessible tourism for the large population with disabilities.

This document outlines a proposed research study on how retailers can improve the customer experience through the use of mobile technologies. The study will use qualitative interviews to understand how consumers interact with innovative technologies like mobile devices during their in-store shopping journey. The objectives are to gain insights into how mobile can enhance the in-store experience and compare customer decision-making for low and high involvement purchases. The methodology will use interpretivism and constructivism approaches with thematic analysis of 10-15 interviews. The findings aim to provide retailers insights on investing in digital technologies to improve customer experience and increase return on investment.

Product Service Equivalence A Philosophical Deconstructionijtsrd
This paper equilibrates the unsettled relationship between products and services by employing meta concepts to extend the literature on business philosophy, product service management and entrepreneurship. Products and services are two different forms of the same thing, it ultimately comes down to merchantable value. One could tabulate differences between the same things by placing them at opposite ends in any spectrum of measure, but this isn’t a scholarly method to comparatively study products and services. Therefore, this paper provides a framework by introducing the concept of factorial division of products and services to conceptualize a series of ideas concerning products, services, and the gap in between them which allows for the interdependencies and interchangeability. This concept will be further exercised to discuss and derive three postulates which will be used for studying the limitation of the product service continuum and for comprehending the new system of "Product Service Notation". With the addition of a new variable that is essential for this notational system, called "Intelligence Threshold Requirement," the infinitely wide concepts of intelligence become manageable without much effort. And to make the abstractions reasonably easy the author will be citing many examples, illustrations and deductive arguments of speculative nature.
