Flagship is a mobile application mainly for Android and IPhone devices. The primary
objective of the Flagship initiative is to create a new and convenient mobile application
experience for customers that inspire them to interact and shop with Boots repeatedly. The
flagship application will act as a mobile application container and host a number of child
applications like store locator, product scan, shop and info. This new experience is expected
to drive incremental sales and increased customer interactions.
There is a content management platform that manages all static content of child
applications hosted within the container. This platform is also responsible for delivering the
Digital Offer contents to boots.com application.

Flagship Digital offer is a mobile application for Android and IPhone devices. It includes offer
basic information, deal qualifier, rewards and articles. The targeting information for offers is
received from UNICA which contains the association between offers and customers. The
presentation details of offer like offer description, offer view dates, offer images, terms and
conditions. It will be managed through CMS. The offer assigned to a customer will be
delivered on the basis of offer view dates and other display rules. The customer offer goes
through various statuses depending upon the customer’s interaction with offers.
