Idea 1 –
Plot: Twofriendshosta fake TV chat show.Theyhave a guest,whoisjustanotherfriendwho
doesn’tindulgeintheirimaginationandthinksthe wholethingisstupid.He constantlytriestoget
hisfriendstosee that the show isimaginary,butthe twofriendsare toofar indulgedintothis
fantasy.Theygo throughan “entire show”withmusic,the weatherandaninterview.
Characters:
Presenter#1:
 He isrobotic. He can’t readsocial cuesand so isa terrible interviewer.He speaksina single
tone of voice.
 He isstraightto the point.Like JeremyPaxman,he asksquestionswithoutholdingback.
 He makesthe points.He isthe one who takespointinthe interview andinteractswithhis
interviewee.
Presenter#2:
 He isa yes-man. He agreeswitheverythingthathis“co-presenter”says.
 He onlylooksatthe “camera”.He doesn’tmake anyeye contact withanyone,butthe
camera.
 He isthe most indulgedinthisimaginedscenario.He isthe one talkingasif there isan
audience watching.
Friend:
 He isa realitychecker.He constantlytriestogethisfriendstogrow upand stop playingsilly
games.
 He isquizzical.He strugglestoeventryto understandwhatthey’re imaginingorwhere the
imaginationiscomingfrom.
Setting:
Locationof shoot:Editsuite.There isnoreal developmentof the show andthe imaginationof the
presenterswouldonlybe plausibleif itwasonlytheythatcouldsee it.
Locationof story(infictional terms):Collegecampus.Theyare twostudentsof a college who are
immature andhave childishinclinations.Theyimagine the whole campusasa TV studio.
