Indonesia is facing a shortage of skilled talent and leadership that is hampering its economic growth. The shortage is both in terms of quantity and quality of workers, and these gaps will continue to widen until 2020. There is a need for more training programs that develop skills like digital literacy, problem solving, and global competence to help address the talent shortage problem. Companies, government and universities need to work together on mobile and transnational training solutions tailored to each industry's job roles and skills requirements.
