ACES PROJECT 2012/13
 Three partners from three countries were working
together from October to March 2013
 The main topic were Media
 Project was sponsored by ACES organization
 Our project outcome was internet magazine
 We studied advantages and disadvantages of the
Internet, especially Facebook
 8 students visited Slovakia and Hungary, one student
Laško in Slovenia, one student Senec in Slovakia
 We bought a camera and working material
 We spent 1600 Euro on the trip to Slovakia and
Hungary
 Parents board donated us 270 Euro
24 – 28 September,
Dominik Zdráhal and Mgr.
Alena Buroňová met our
partners, worked on the
project and learned about
media.
For planning
project activities
and cooperating
with partners we
used modern IT
tools, such as
emails, Facebook
group or Skype
conference.
Posters Advantages and
disadvantages of the
Internet and Facebook
Students worked on their
posters in the morning
and then explained
parents the task.
Together they made
posters about
Advantages a
disadvantages of the
Internet and Facebook.
All partner schools thought
about the questions for the
quiz. Slovak student Terka
wrote and article about the
results. Ostrava pupils
gave the Survey to 47
pupils and then made
graphs in Maths.
8.B made graphs and
presented the results in
Mathematics. Class 8.A
presented survey in
English language.

the interactive
museum U6 in the
former ironworks
Vitkovice in
January.
Then pupils compared the reality with information on web.
They remembered a lot and the web was not exaggerating.
On the way to
project meeting
we visited our
etwinning partner
for Christmas
postcards project.
This project won
the Czech contest
as the best
Christmas project
of 2012.
Four students stayed
in families. We visited
Franciscan
Convent, museums in
the town and Hollóköi.
On the way home we changed train in Budapest.
We saw Parliament, St. Stephen´s Cathedral, the Budin castle.
We also saw the
Mathew
church, Fishers
tower, and the
Hero
Square, hrad
Buda.
40 pupils drew a graph about
their daily schedule and time
they spend on the Internet. Then
they drew how much time they
spend on different Internet
activities.
Czech delegate from Ministry of
Education Mrs. Mašková, our
poster, 44 awarded project
map, and many activities took
place.
On the way to
Senec we saw
Bratislava
Castle, the Slovak
National
Theatre, and St.
Martin Cahedrale.
