A Quick Write is a writing exercise where participants freely write non-stop about a given prompt for a set period of time, without worrying about spelling, grammar, or censorship, in order to generate and explore ideas. It is meant to help writers practice regularly capturing thoughts, inspire future writing pieces, and get comfortable sharing early ideas through a variety of formats like lists, descriptions, memories, or storyboards. Participants are encouraged to continuously write quietly and respect others during the exercise.
