We asked the students ‘do you feel pressure from celebrity culture and the media to look
a certain way?’ and ‘if you could change one aspect about yourself physically, what would
it be?’. These questions would reflect their self image and their awareness of the
influence of media.

2. I asked psychology and emdia expert: ‘do you think media products are to
blame for what’s seen as attractive?’ to see if our definition of attractive is
personal, learnt or ingrained.
‘Female models are often labelled dangerous role models. Could male models
also be seen as setting dangerous goals to influential teenagers?’ looking into
the differences between female and male body image. i think male models
look a lot healthier than female models and wanted to see if Tom thought the
same.
‘We rarely see articles about men aiming to look a certain way and feeling
pressure. Why do you think this is?’
