The survey results show demographic information and preferences of 40 horror film fans. Most are aged 15-18 (49%) and live in Ilford or Barkingside (22% and 22%). The majority watch films via cinema or streaming (50% and 17%). Nearly two-thirds spend £0-10 per month on horror (62%) and most watch 0-5 films per month (75%). Jump scares and true stories are most enjoyed (27% and 30%). Sound is the scariest element (32%) and asylums the preferred setting (23%). Friends are the most common company for watching (45%). The Conjuring and Chucky are most popular films and villain (32% and 40%).
