uction safety has been achieved, the industry still continues to lag behind most other industries with regard to safety. The construction safety of any organization consists of employee’s attitudes towards and perceptions of, health and safety
behaviour. Construction workers attitudes towards safety are influenced by their perceptions of risk, management, safety rules
and procedures. A measure of safety could be used to identify those areas of safety that need more attention and improvement.
The aim of the study was to identify factors in the safety management that any lead project success. these factors influence
construction safety. In this project questionnaire is framed to find safety in major organisations. data is collected on the basis
of questionnaire. Employees of various construction firm are interviewed. Collected data is analysed statistically. this analysis
is show the safety environment among organisation. it also gives suggestion to improve safety at construction site.

This document discusses a study on the effect of micro-grooved fins on the thermal and hydraulic performance of fin-and-tube heat exchangers. It fabricated fins with parallel micro-grooves using photolithography and chemical etching. It then tested four full-scale heat exchangers with these fins, measuring dry and wet air-side pressure drop and heat transfer coefficients. The micro-grooved fins reduced wet air-side pressure drop by 9.3-53% while having a negligible impact on dry and wet heat transfer coefficients. This novel fin design improved performance by better managing condensate, demonstrating potential benefits for HVAC&R systems. It also evaluated the durability of an alkyl silane coating applied
The document is a cover letter and resume from Niraj Kumar Niral applying for a piping engineering position. He has 25 years of experience in stress analysis and piping engineering for projects in consulting firms. Currently he is working as the Stress Head at Tata Consulting Engineers but is seeking a new challenging opportunity where he can further his career and development. He has extensive experience in static and dynamic stress analysis, piping layouts, support design, and working with various codes and standards.
This document discusses using iPods and iPads in the classroom to engage students and prepare them for the 21st century. It argues that traditional classrooms are like 19th century factories that taught repetitive, monotonous skills, while today's students need to be creative problem solvers. The document provides tips and examples of literacy, math, and other educational apps that can be used on iPods and iPads to individualize learning and accommodate different styles. It aims to make learning more like an iPod experience that students can customize to their interests and needs.

This document summarizes the responses from a questionnaire about a "Paper Week" environmental campaign. Students provided feedback on their gender, year of study, awareness of the campaign, understanding of its purpose, whether it persuaded them to reduce paper waste, what they learned, which activities they enjoyed, and how the campaign could be improved. The key activities mentioned were an online quiz for older students and paper model making for younger students. Students reported learning the most from facts on the website and from discussing answers to the quiz questions with their form groups. Respondents suggested opening the campaign to all grade levels and promoting it more extensively around the school.
This document contains a 7 question survey about a "Paper Week" campaign aimed at reducing paper waste. The survey asks about the respondent's gender and year, their awareness and understanding of the campaign through various promotions, whether the campaign persuaded them to reduce paper waste, if they learned something new, and if they enjoyed the campaign activities.

The document discusses 21st century historical thinking skills as defined by Common Core standards as "the cogent reasoning and use of evidence essential to responsible citizenship in a democratic republic." It then provides examples of what teaching and assessing these skills may look like, including having students analyze primary sources, learn to read like historians, and go beyond multiple choice questions. A variety of free online resources are also listed that can help students practice skills like collecting and collaborating on information, creating communications, and developing critical thinking.

This document discusses how games and play can be used to create effective learning environments that are aligned with how the brain works. It notes that effective learning involves student choice, collaboration, problem-solving, and feedback. Games inherently include these elements and can help increase literacy and problem-solving skills. The document provides examples of educational games and simulations that engage students in authentic scenarios and sophisticated research. It encourages talking to students and learning more about how play can be incorporated into classrooms.
This document describes research into creating slippery surfaces for HVAC systems to improve drainage of water. Aluminum samples were anodized to create a porous surface and then coated with a hydrophobic material. The surfaces were then infused with a perfluoropolyether liquid. Contact angle and critical inclination angle tests showed these slippery surfaces reduced contact angles and critical angles of water droplets compared to untreated surfaces. Preliminary experiments also found slippery surfaces delayed frost formation and retained only one fourth as much water after defrosting compared to untreated surfaces. Therefore, these slippery surfaces show potential to improve water drainage performance of HVAC heat exchangers.
