1. Introduction
✓Hope for a Child in Christ continues to implement sustainable programs in communities of Matobo with funding from
Oxfam.
✓ICSP received 30 000 Euro in June to implement Ireland Civil Society Program (ICSP) –Building Resilient Inclusive and
Accountable Communities in Zimbabwe (BRIC-Zim)
✓Under the Building Resilient Inclusive and accountable Communities in Zimbabwe (BRIC-Zim) program, HOCIC aimed at
scaling-up its interventions in the wards where the Securing Rights Program (PG11) was implemented.
✓The main purpose is to ensure that, changes obtained in supporting vulnerable communities are sustained and further
enhanced through various planned program strategies
✓The ICSP project was guided by the Humanitarian Development Peace Nexus (HDP) approach
✓ICSP adopted SASA!, SHG, Nutrition gardening model, Youth Club mentorship program
✓The program reached +/- 350 beneficiaries directly and +/-1200 beneficiaries indirectly
